Job Duties: Assist in developing art instruction materials, presentation graphics, and study curricula (including syllabus, objectives, and particulars to be learned) for new fine arts classes according to students’ age and grade levels. Evaluate and judge students' art work, projects, and assignments. Explain and demonstrate artistic techniques. Prepare students for gallery events where they display and demonstrate their art work to parents. Prepare and deliver lectures to students on fine arts illustration, graphic design, and painting techniques and materials. Prepare course materials such as classroom assignments and handouts. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions. Keep abreast of developments in the fine arts education field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences. Advise high-school age students on academic and vocational curricula, and on career issues in the fine arts field. Job location in Santa Clara , CA .
